[영어회화/영작] Would you want to be a famous, In what way?

1. 사실 저는 유명해지고 싶지 않아요, 그지만 유명해져야한다면 또는 만약에 그렇게 될 수 있다면

나는 아마도 나의 동물보호소를 운영할 것 같아요.

 

Actually, I wouldn't want to be a famous, but if I had to be a famous or if I somehow became facous, 

I think, I'd want to bulit and run my own animal shelters.

 

2. 오 미안해요. 저 그냥 명성에 대해서 생각해고 제가 유명해지면 어떻게 사회에 영향을 줄지만 생각했어요.

oh, sorry, I just started thinking about fame and how I could make an impact on society if I were famous.

 

3. 유명해지는 방법중 하나는 베스트셀러 작가가 되는 거라고 생각해요. 베스트 셀러 작가는 거의 부자잖아요?

I think the one way might be by becoming a bestselling author, you know, those who sell milions of  books sellers make money a lot, right? ( selling millions of books would make me rich, right?)

 

4. 그래서 내가 만약에 그런 부를 가진다면, 저는 전 세계에 동물 보호소를 지을 거에요. 

사실 이건 저의 비전 중 하나입니다. 그러나 아직 어떻게 성취해야할지는 모르겠어요.

그냥 상상해보면, 만약 제가 베스트 셀러 작가가 된다면 동물 보호에 대한 인식과 선한 영향을 줄 수 있을 것 같아요.

so, if I had that kind of wealth, I'd use it to bulit animal shelters all over the world.

This is actually one of my long-term visions, but I'm still not sure how I'll achieve it.

Just imagine- if I became a bestselling author, I'd have the power of what I said and making impacting in a good way to protect the animals.  I'd have the influence to spread awareness and make a real impact in protecting animals.

 

5. 저는 꽤 확신합니다. 동물 보호소를 운영하는데에 있어서 유명세는 조금 필요하다고, 왜냐하면 보호소를 운영하는데에는 많은 비용이 들고, 그걸 충당하기 위해선 제가 가진 부만으로는 안될 것이기에 글로벌적인 지원을 받기 위해서는 유명세도 중요하다고 생각해요. 마치 이효리처럼요. 그녀는 자신의 쉘터를 운영하진 않지만, 사회적으로 좋은 영향을 끼치고 있죠.

I'm pretty sure that running shelters requires a lot of money—for food, rent, and medical care—

so receiving global support would be important. I know my personal wealth alone wouldn't be enough to sustain it.

* From that perspective, fame could be a huge advantage, kind of like how Lee Hyori has influenced animal welfare. She has never built her own shelters, but she still makes a positive impact on society.

 

6. 내가 어떤 종류의 책을 쓸까 궁금해 하실 수 있죠. 아마도 제 필드와 관련된 그런 책을 하나 쓰지 않을까요?

You might wonder what kind of book I'd wirte, Well, I’d probably write something related to my field, like ‘The Best Way to Relieve Foot Pain with Yoga or perhaps something about wisdom for navigating an individualistic society.
